Testo 545 Luxmeter with location management and mean calculation
The light parameter
Approximately 80 % of all sensations are of an optical nature and therefore experienced via the eye. Sufficient, homogeneous light is imperative for the protection of the eyes. The necessary measurements can be carried out accurately, easily and conveniently using the testo 545 luxmeter.
Adapting to the human eye
Our eyes are much more sensitive to yellow/green light than to blue and red light. This must be taken into consideration by a luxmeter. A special optical filter has this task in testo 545. It is only with this type of filter that it is possible to carry out accurate measurements on different light sources which may vary in colour e.g. mercury arc or sodium vapour lamps etc.
Mean calculation
Two mean calculation functions, timed and multi-point, are available to the user. The mean values can be saved in the memory and printed.
Location management
A special feature of testo 545 which makes your work easier is its location management function. Readings (up to 99) can be allocated to the locations thus ensuring clear identification and documentation.
Convenient data analysis
Using Comfort software, available in the Light or Professional version, testo 545 can be read out and a location list can be saved. Light intensity values which are saved separately can be connected to form a curve using Professional software. This “Light profile” provides information on the uniformity of the lighting on e.g. repro tables, paintings, in halls etc.
